Homecoming is always a time to reconnect with college friends and rekindle old relationships. But back in 2017, former Butler University faculty member Roger Boop built a new relationship that changed the way he banks.
Boop visited the Elements Financial tent on Bulldog Boulevard at homecoming and was interested in learning more about Butler’s Credit Union. When he stopped at the tent, he was approached by a member of the Business Development team who connected him with Ashlie Dew, Assistant Vice President of Private Client Services at Elements. He began asking Dew questions about our products, curious about how much interest Elements paid on their deposit accounts. When he heard about our high deposit rates, he was shocked saying “it was so very much better than my credit union!”
While hearing our interest rates got him interested, Boop shared that the best part of his experience with Elements has been meeting Dew. He explains “That was the beginning of a continued relationship I have with Ashlie.” Through our Private Client Services program, Dew works with Boop on his banking needs and is always just a phone call away. He shares that “Ashlie has always been there for me anytime I had any major questions” and there’s really no need for him to visit a branch or ATM “because it’s just too easy to give Ashlie a call.”
Boop enjoys seeing that Elements continues to be involved on campus at Butler. He is always invited to our spring Happy Hour, saying that he enjoys collecting the annual door prizes and appreciates the great appetizers and drinks. Boop is a well-known member of Elements and always enjoys the opportunity to say hello to Elements leadership and staff who are in attendance at the Happy Hour.
This year, Elements is celebrating our fifth year as Butler’s Credit Union. Boop is proud to be a member and says that he “would certainly recommend Elements” and has even referred “several of my colleagues at Butler” to our credit union.
